I've always wondered where animals throw their garbage. Now I know.
At least it's not on the floor...
There's nothing wrong with tradition, but we wouldn't be where we are today without creativity. Living the way out life means exploration and experimentation. Variety is the spice of life.
Life is bearable when you can laugh at it. See the jokes all around you. Put things in a new context. Caterpillars dress like clowns, geese laugh at snowfall, reptiles are nudists.
Life is full of surprises. A trip to the bank is never just a trip to the bank unless you want it to be. Keep a look out and you never know what sort of oddly-dressed characters you might meet in the parking lot.
Sometimes when we live in one place for a while it can seem boring. Writing can help with this. Make it your mission to explore and ask questions. Reporting on what you find and telling the world will do you at least as much good as everyone who reads it.
Support local pride and promote local businesses. Shine a light on all that is good in the world. Highlight the local businesses, people, history, services, products, restaurants, parks, museums, fun places, and unique places in order to instill local pride, entertain, and provide a resource of information.
Some things to think of when writing an article of a place:
What is unique/interesting about this place?
What value does this place bring the community?
What are all the things people might use this place for?
How might people have fun here?
Upon first visiting, what does it look/sound/smell like?
What is the history of this place?
What sentimental attachment do people have to this place?
What other interesting places are nearby?
What is your personal favorite thing about this place?
If you know a business that is a treasure to the community, why not write about what you like about them? If you know the owner, why not ask a few questions? Here are some ideas:
How long have you had this business?
What first interested you in this industry/field?
What are you trying to accomplish for society?
What were/are your dreams for this business?
What challenges did you encounter in starting or in running your business?
What was your “light bulb” moment?
My name is Daniel Noe and I live the Way Out Life. I explore the world with an eye for fun, humor, and insight. I visit parks. I learn about culture and science. I photograph creatures and landscapes from my travels. I draw creatures and landscapes from my mind. I even write stories. This website and its products are for people like me who want to spread a little joy, creativity, and fun.
We are all explorers. Some of us explore land and sea. Some explore space. Some explore the nature of matter and energy through experiment. Some explore the human mind through self-reflection. We are all on an expedition for knowledge, a quest for truth, and a journey to understand.
We use our creativity to create art. We use our creativity to recognize art, digging up the beauty in things normally passed over, and to celebrate the beauty in others. We will not ignore the bad, but will find the good hidden inside. We celebrate the wonder and intricate complexities of nature, giving glory to the creator of everything.
In an infinite universe, the laws of probability tell us that any combination of matter allowable under the laws of physics will exist somewhere. This means that even fictional places such as Vulcan, Tatooine, Gallifrey, and Narnia actually exist. This means that there are infinitely many parallel Earths, some of them just slightly different, some of them slightly ahead or behind us in time.
We are all prophets. We point the way to what could be. Instead of dreaming of some magical place that might await us after death, we live it now.
